In 2002, the Chambersburg Area Development Corporation and the Shippensburg Area Development Corporation joined forces to form the Cumberland Valley Regional Development Corporation (CVRDC). CVRDC created the 363-acre United Business Park, located just off of Exit 24 on I-81.

United Business Park is situated in an outstanding location at Exit 24 of the Interstate 81 corridor. It is within a day's drive of nearly half of the U.S. population – 100 million people with access to various modes of transportation. Development of sewer and water service is under way.
